In this fast improving world, cars have become a source of luxury. One can find the roads in metropolitan cities as well as the other cities with lots of these moving around. This source of transport is very easy and one could travel on their convenience to any places. My Personal Selection

Taking a non serious view on cars, I love some of the cartoon or comic type cars that can stretch the imagination. My all time favourite is Fred Flintstone’s wheels, or rollers to be more exact, as the foot powered limo is just unreal. Second place would have to go to Noddy’s car for whoever first dreamed up the shape was a real whiz on the designer front. I am sure if this unique shape has been used in full production it would have been a real winner. Last and by no means least is the Batmobile as it is so unusual in its shape.

Wheels Power

Anything on wheels tends to be a show-off item provided it is well maintained and appealing. If you go back to the days of chariots, the same was applicable; the wing mirrors of today could be likened to the revolving blades extending from the wheel axles of those two-wheeled conveyances-to give that added touch of styling, so to speak. So what is it that so attracts us?: speed, one-up-man-ship, sex appeal. Everyone has their own idea and their own choice of car.

Leasing a Car

Flashy cars are one of the most popular status symbols. In the UK, it is now very rare to see the old banger, with unfinished paintwork and rough fibreglass lumps waiting to be finished off, chugging down the street. With easy credit and super deals, many more people find it easy to buy new cars on hire purchase or the ever more popular leasing arrangements. With the latter, people tend to go for the more opulent models as the leasing companies tend to tempt prospective customers with the more glitzy models. Leasing a car means you have no worries re some maintenance costs or having to sell your car on when you want to change; this form of obtaining your own set of wheels took some time to catch on, with many people not adhered to the idea of not actually having their name on the owner’s document.

Reg Plates

There are still some excellent reg plates that people would love to get their hands on. Many of these are usually belonging to local councils that reserved the earliest plates which identified which town they were registered in. Many of these are low numbered and two-lettered plates that many opulent people would give their right arm for. For example the plate for the Mayor of Blackburn, Lancashire, is CB 1, which denoted the town it was first registered in. It does sit proudly though on the shiny black antique Rover that is its home.

New Car or Used Car

Buying a new or used car can either be a traumatic experience or a very exciting one. If you know a lot about cars generally, your task is usually somewhat easier. When you buy a new car you can feel confident you are buying something that has warranty cover, you just need to ensure what you are buying meets your particular needs; it’s no point buying a gas-guzzler if you are only running the kids to school or do not have a lot of disposable income. Buying a second hand car is a far different proposition. Using a reputable dealer who has good credentials is the first must. Secondly, it usually pays to have the car checked over by a qualified association that can pinpoint any current or probable malfunctions so that these can be rectified before you take the keys and hit the road

A Luxury Car

When it comes to unveiling new concept cars in the luxury car category, the recent launch of the new Aston Martin V12 vantage RS takes some beating. Whether you consider it a baby monster, or a monster baby, it oozes style, power and prestige. Its 6250 rpm engine goes from 0-62 in 4 seconds and it has a built-in deployable spoiler that rises as the baby, or monster if you prefer, accelerates forward. The styling is chunky and robust and should be in high demand if it goes into full production, as is being muted by those in the know. It goes to show that since the split from Ford and transfer to private ownership, the company based in Warwickshire look like they have a smooth ride into the future.

Cars Market

Buying and selling cars can be something of a hassle, as well as being a lengthy process, if you use the more traditional methods; the advertisement in the paper can be quite expensive, and making sure you are available for the phone calls that follow it can be a bind. Using a reputable online car dealer is becoming ever more popular as it is easy and less time consuming to conduct business. Once you have registered, you command a very widespread exposure if you are selling a car, only firm bids will come back to you so you can assess all your options before making a decision. Likewise, if you are looking at buying a quality car, you have splendid viewing and choice. The use of the internet is one of the best ways of actually seeing what’s for sale as people can make quicker decisions and a lot of time wasting is avoided.

Rolls-Royce Phantom Silver

Being one of the lucky few who could afford to buy a Rolls-Royce Phantom Silver is not is highly improbable for most of us; it’s not only the price that is the major constraint, a limited number of 25 are to be produced to mark the 100th anniversary of the Silver Ghost, you have to somehow get on the reserved list. Nevertheless, if you are a car fanatic and like owning a top-end car, there is still plenty of choice of both new and second hand cars that will get the heads turning. If you search online you can narrow down your search to the model and year you are looking for very quickly, if you are flush with the cash, and order your new Porsche or BMW brand new.
